Sunstate Speedway Kart Club is a non-profit Motorsport Club and was established in the late 90's by the late Des Carsburg. Des' aim was to manage, support and develop local and regional speedway karters within Queensland. Sadly, in October 2011 after a lengthy battle with cancer Des lost his fight.
Today, Sunstate Speedway Kart Club is one of Queensland's largest clubs hosting an impressive line up of drivers, members and volunteers all of whom are keeping Des vision alive.
